Salary Range:$31282.30
Standard Hours:37.50 Second Shift 2:15 pm 10:15 pm

Job Summary
Provides general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds to maintain a safe and clean environment for learning. Ensures cleanliness orderliness and safety in assigned areas.
Job Duties:
- Performs general custodial duties utilizing basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas removing waste completing daily cleaning of restrooms classrooms and offices based on schedule provided by supervisor.
- Moves and assembles furniture and equipment for room setup.
- Replaces light bulbs ceiling tiles etc
- Provides general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Repairs furniture unclog drains sweeping and waxing floors operating floor buffer and assisting maintenance technician on more technical repairs.
- Provides groundskeeping services and maintains clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris litter snow and ice.
- Operates forklift and/or lawn equipment.
- Assist in setup during special events.
- Other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners floor buffers and cleaning solutions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively communicate using auditory and visual methods ability to distinguish colors follow written and verbal instructions.
- Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Primarily use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Ability to stand for long periods and do repetitive tasks.
- Reliable adaptable and committed to keeping things clean and safe.
- You must be able to occasionally and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliability transportation.
- High attention to detail independent selfmotivated adaptable to fastpaced environments.
- Professional and courteous communication at all levels both internally and externally.
- Clear verbal and written skills.
- Efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Capable to learn or can work with Microsoft Office (Excel Forms Outlook Teams SharePoint Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
- Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
