Position Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologistspecializing inAcute Care:
Weekends preferred
Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function minimize disability following disease or injury and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.
The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.
Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange workrelated information.
Contact with external contacts involves providing or getting factual information.
Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.
Education:Required Licensure Certification Etc.
Mastersdegree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American SpeechLanguage Hearing Association preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Work Experience
Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
Experience in a PostAcute rehab setting required
Salary Range: Minimum51.00per hour Maximum51.00per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
