Working Arrangements: Hybrid arrangements available however minimum 2 days onsite in Canberra required at a minimum.
Start date: ASAP (late April 2025
Duration: Approximate 12month contract with possibility of extension
Pay rate: $77.23 $84.60 per hour plus 11.5 superannuation (dependent on experience)
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline level security clearance.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (EL1 to play a key role in driving digital transformation within our Federal Government clients agency. This is an opportunity to work on highimpact ICT projects collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure strategic alignment with corporate IT priorities.
Lead business and system analysis for complex ICT projects ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders facilitating workshops and discussions to gather business requirements.
Develop process maps data models and use cases to provide a clear representation of business operations.
Provide strategic advice and solutions to project managers and leadership teams.
Work in an Agile environment supporting backlog prioritisation sprint planning and refinement sessions.
10 years experience as a Business Analyst in a federal government setting.
Strong background in digital projects SaaS solutions and IT services.
Expertise in facilitating workshops and developing process and data models.
Proven ability to advise on complex issues and drive decisionmaking at senior levels.
Tertiary qualification in IT Business Intelligence or Computer Science.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
Knowledge of ICT intake and demand management processes.
