Job Description

Extended School Year Nurse

Reports To: ESY Coordinator

Danvers Public Schools is seeking an Extended School Year Nurse for the ESY program. This is a nonbenefited parttime seasonal position for the 2025 summer. This is a MondaythroughThursday program running from July 7 2025 to August 7 2025

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our extended school year team.

The ESY Nurse will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students ensuring their safety and responding to any medical needs that arise.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic healthcare and first aid services to students and staff.

Administer medications as needed and monitor students health conditions.

Manage and respond to medical emergencies ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all individuals involved.

Maintain accurate and uptodate health records for students including medical histories and incident reports.

Coordinate with parents or guardians regarding health concerns or emergencies.

Act as a point of contact for any medicalrelated inquiries or concerns.
