Job Description
Position Summary:
Create and/or modify drawings and bills of materials. Provide technical support to internal and external customers. Supports the design development and documentation of products. Evaluate products returned by customers and resolve product complaints. Identify and implement process improvements that will reduce the time and cost associated with developing new or modified products.
Essential Functions:
Create and/or modify drawings and bills of materials. Provide markedup drawings of product changes to CAD operators. Check drawings that have been created or modified by CAD operators.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers. Set up modified products for customers using the Product Line Extension (PLE) process.
Project team member. Supports the design development and documentation of products.
Evaluate products returned by customers and resolve product complaints. Participate in the CAPA process
Identify and implement process improvements that will reduce the time and cost associated with developing new or modified products. Manage drawing tabulation schemes to reduce the number of drawings revised/released per year.
Performs other duties as assigned.
