INFINITI of Northern Kentucky is looking for a Service Advisor! We are seeking an Infiniti or Nissan experienced preferred Service Advisor that is looking for a great career opportunity! The Automotive Service Writer / Advisor initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records.

Duties

  • Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customers description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
  • Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials supplies and labor calculating customers payment including deductibles.
  • Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms problems and causes discovered as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customers approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers publications.
  • Ensure the customer has a positive dealership experience.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries whether phone or in person to ensure the customer does not get mishandled.
  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers

Requirements

  • Service Advisor experience with a luxury brand (Preferred)
  • ADP/CDK experience preferred
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent followup skills
  • Accountable and prompt
  • Maintaining a positive cando attitude
  • Valid Drivers License and clean record PreEmployment Background Check Required
  • Drug FREE workplace PreEmployment Drug Screening Required
