Job Description

Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design development and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets including Aviation Communication Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED) Industrial Missile/UAV Radar Satcom Space and Test and Measurement. Teledyne Microwave Solutions is looking for a Document Control Coordinator for Day Shift.

This role is responsible for collecting maintaining and distributing all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements. Maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center. Administers the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Tasks and assignments tend to be simple straightforward in nature. Duties are performed under close supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Examines documents such as blueprints drawings change orders and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
  • Posts changes to computerized or manual control records releases documents and notifies affected departments.
  • Maintains a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
  • Performs clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary.
  • Prepares requests for reproduction of documents.
  • Operates reproduction equipment.
  • Prepares reports and memorandums.
  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree from fouryear college or university in a related field is preferred or 35 years of directly related experience and/or training.

Language Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret various business documents technical procedures and government regulations.Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to prepare and effectively present information and response to questions.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office (includes Word PowerPoint Excel. Knowledge of CAD is a plus.

Salary Range:

$42800.00$57100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
