AirDNA has recently acquired Uplisting a powerful property management software that enables shortterm rental operators to efficiently manage their properties across multiple platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo. Uplisting features include channel management automated messaging booking management dynamic pricing task management and financial reporting.
The Role:
Were looking for a Strategy & Planning Associate to support highimpact business decisions through data analysis financial modeling and strategic insights. This is a highexposure role reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the CEO. In this role youll leverage SQL Excel and data visualization tools to analyze key performance metrics market trends and business opportunities. Your work will directly influence AirDNAs growth strategy operational efficiency and financial planning.
Heres what youll get to do:
- Analyze and interpret large datasets using SQL to generate insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Develop Excelbased financial models and forecasting tools to support planning and business performance tracking.
- Support leadership in setting KPIs goals and strategic priorities based on data insights.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend datadriven improvements.
- Work crossfunctionally with teams such as Finance Product Marketing and RevOps to evaluate business initiatives.
- Quickly learn AirDNAs internal tools systems and tech stack to become a highly effective crossfunctional partner.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform investment and expansion strategies.
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends.
Heres what youll need to be successful:
- 1 years of experience in a datadriven analytical role (e.g. strategy consulting business intelligence finance).
- Proficiency in SQL (writing queries extracting data joining tables).
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling pivot tables complex formulas).
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Amplitude Tableau Power BI Looker) is a plus.
- Passion for fastmoving environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth environment.
