Circle Decontamination Jubilee Court
Bank Shifts
Salary: Up to 12.32 per hour
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England and Jubilee Court Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.
We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHousekeepingdepartment.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- You provide a firstclass Housekeeping Service to the Decontamination Unit to support the overall production process and to aid the unit in providing a qualitative service to its customers.
- You ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the required level of cleanliness.
- You ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and available for use.
- You assist the production staff with supporting duties including stores management.
- You maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders of the job role.
- You maintain good working relationships with all customers internal and external to CHG.
- You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Competency in literacy and numeracy
- Good Communication skills
- Maths English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficiency in the use of a PC including the use of software and systems.
