Job Description
Position:High SchoolResource Room Teacher
The position starts in the 202526 academic year.
Qualifications:
- State of MI teacher certificate with an endorsement in special education.
- Learning Disabilities Endorsement preferred.
- HighSchool experience preferred.
- Ability to facilitate an IEP and complete necessary paperwork.
- Possess an understanding of the state and federal specialeducation rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with other professionals in a collaborative manner.
- Ability to foster a positive classroom environment and build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students parents colleagues and administrators.
