Job Description
Create and prepare detailed electrical drawings schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and design specifications.
Develop electrical layout plans singleline diagrams and circuit diagrams for residential commercial or industrial projects.
Ensure that all electrical drawings comply with relevant codes and standards.
Revise drawings and schematics as needed based on feedback or project changes.
Perform electrical load calculations and assist in system design development.
Maintain organized files of electrical drawings and ensure version control.
Review and coordinate with construction teams to ensure correct installation of electrical systems as per design.
Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and specifications for electrical components.
Participate in site visits and inspections as required for onsite coordination and troubleshooting.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman or similar role.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D).
Knowledge of electrical codes standards and safety regulations.
Familiarity with electrical system design and electrical load calculations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans diagrams and technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
