Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security youll conduct risk assessments manage security incidents and lead awareness programs to enhance our cyber resilience. Were now looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in protecting our organisations information assets.
The Role
As an Information Security Analyst youll report directly to the Head of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security and be at the forefront of safeguarding Kinetics systems and data from cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
- Developing strategic roadmaps to address security risks.
- Managing outsourced Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) partnerships.
- Responding to and managing security incidents including creating detailed reports and recommendations.
- Leading cyber security awareness initiatives including training and phishing campaigns.
- Maintaining compliance with industry standards such as Essential 8 and ISO27001.
- Driving the development and upkeep of the Information Security Manual.
About You
Youre a proactive and detailoriented professional with a passion for cyber security and a collaborative mindset. Your qualifications and experience include:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in information security with a strong technical background.
- Certifications: CISSP CISM CISA or equivalent (highly recommended).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Essential 8 ML3 ISO27001 and ITIL frameworks.
- Skills: Analytical abilities stakeholder engagement and excellent communication.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters in IT Business Management or a related field.
- Extras: Project management experience and the ability to thrive in a highspeed fastpaced environment.
