Senior Healthcare Assistant

Day Shifts 3642 hours per week
Salary:(Dependent on contracted hours)

Are you an experienced and compassionate healthcare professional looking for your next opportunity Our client a wellestablished and highly regarded care service is seeking a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant (Days) to join their team.

Set within beautifully landscaped gardens this welcoming service provides highquality residential and dementia care in a warm and homely environment.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered during day shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents providing them with the comfort dignity and companionship they deserve.

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting ideally in a senior role.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding care with kindness and respect.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Flexibility to work day shifts as part of a rota.
  • Please note: Tier 2 sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Healthcare Assistants to provide personcentred care.
  • Ensuring the physical emotional and social needs of residents are met with compassion and professionalism.
  • Administering medication in line with care plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting daytime safety checks and ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for residents.
  • Documenting care activities accurately and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Providing support to residents with dementia promoting a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Communicating effectively with residents families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
