Job Description
Temporary Beer Servers will support concessions operations at Rice Eccles Stadium and Jon M Huntsman Center during concerts and special events. This position is responsible for providing highquality service to guests in a fastpaced environment while adhering to all applicable local laws and university policies regarding alcohol sales and service.
Responsibilities
Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state laws university policies and venue regulations. Verify customer age and identification in accordance with state alcohol laws. Process payments efficiently using a pointofsale POS system. Maintain a clean and organized service area ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines recognizing signs of over consumption and refusing service when necessary. Provide friendly professional customer service ensuring a positive guest experience. Work efficiently in a highvolume setting handling large crowds and long lines. Assist with setup stocking and closing duties as needed. Comply with all workplace safety policies and stadium event protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid alcohol server certification/license (as required by state law). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Must be available to work nights weekends and holidays as scheduled per event needs. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in food & beverage service bartending or stadium/event concessions preferred. Experience working in a stadium arena or large event venue. Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service. Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highstress environment. Familiarity with POS systems and cashhandling procedures.
