Job Description
A leading law firm is seeking a teamoriented Attorney to join its Energy practice group in the Washington D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business and experience in FERC regulatory RTO and transactional law. Experience with MISO PJM and/or SPP is preferred. While lobbying experience will be considered it is not the primary focus for this position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to bring their expertise in the energy sector to a dynamic growing practice with opportunities for leadership and client development.
Candidate Parameters
- Portable book of business in the energy sector
- Significant experience in FERC regulatory RTO and transactional matters
- Experience with MISO PJM and/or SPP is highly preferred
- Ability to handle complex energy industry issues
- Strong leadership business development and client relationship skills
