You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Department in Augusta ME. In this role the APP will be responsible for performing frontend rapid evaluations of patients in conjunction with the triage nurse to facilitate care. The experienced candidate must be able to make rapid decisions about care.
Join a team of 20 physicians and 7 physician assistants
24/7 Emergency Department with an annual volume of 55000 patients
Schedule consists of 4 8hour shifts per week
Requirements:
Successful completion of an accredited APP program
Active Maine Advanced Practitioners license
BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
Minimum of 5 years experience preferably in an ED setting
