Job Description
NiteLines USA Inc. has an immediate need for LPNs in the Lexington OK area.
LOCATION: Lexington Assessment and Reception Center in Lexington OK
PAY RATE:
- $24.00/hr
HOURS:
- Day Shift: 6:00 am 6:00 pm
- Night Shift: 6:00 pm 6:00 am
DESCRIPTION:
The contractor shall be responsible for but is not limited to:
- Provide patient care services in accordance with legal ethical and institutional standards through the evaluation of patients and therapeutic treatment as ordered by Health Services clinical staff
- Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure
- Administer medications as prescribed i.e. by mouth intradermally subcutaneously or intramuscularly
- Distribute medications at pill line
- Document all encounters in the electronic medical record
- Perform skin testing
- Record diagnostic testing i.e. finger sticks visual acuity testing EKOs (per instructions from midlevel practitioners or physicians)
- Ensure all sharps are secured accounted for stored and disposed of according to institutional and national policy
- Assist the midlevel practitioners and physicians in the management of patients
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Ability and skill to operate EKG PFTs and spirometry
- Perform duties as required but accept only those nursing assignments that are commensurate with his/her educational preparation training experience and nursing licensure laws
REQUIREMENTS:
- The LPN shall possess valid current and unrestricted license to practice nursing within the state of Oklahoma while employed under contract and current CPR certification.
- Shall be a graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Must be a citizen of the U.S.
