Job Description

At Arlo Europe part of Verisure we are seeking a talented and passionate Retail Sales Account Manager for the Nordics.

You will report directly into the Arlo Sales Account Lead Nordics while working closely with the rest of the Sales and Marketing Organization.

You are based in Stockholm (Solna). Travel to accounts should be expected.

As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for growing Arlos business in your assigned countries and accounts. Your main tasks will include managing and expanding existing customer accounts while also identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to drive company growth.

Strategic context and Value proposition

Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019 we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlos European business in particular the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe including ecommerce and retail. Additionally Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.

Today Verisure does not focus on ecommerce and retail channels.Instead we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales Alliances and telesales.The acquisition of Arlo Europe gave us a leadership strong position in these two emerging and important future emerging channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance.Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

Arlo Europe is present in 49 Countries and its expansion is continuing rapidly. The Retail Account Manager will support our growth in line with a strongandvisionary Management that is creating a robust business plan for value creation.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the daily operations and all associated responsibilities of Retail Sales as detailed below. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a portfolio of retail and ecom accounts including promotions inventory management product launches strategy and marketing.

  • Full accountability and P&L responsibility

  • Lead the annual retail sales strategy for assigned accounts.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.

  • Build strong relationships with customer representatives to ensure successful partnerships

  • Develop and negotiate annual terms/Joint Business Plans (JBP) for longterm retail relationships.

  • Assist with reporting forecasting and demand planning.

  • Seek out and develop new partners and business opportunities to maximize growth.

  • Monitor and analyse market and portfolio performance to identify opportunities.

  • Understand the competitive environment and implement strategies to be a category leader.

  • Collaborate with other departments internally and externally to deliver business targets.

  • Experience withing sales account management sales or similar relevant experience

  • Understanding of the Nordics retail and ecommerce market. A bonus would be an experience with the Finnish market

  • Account management skills with attention to detail.

  • Fluency in a at least one Nordic country language and English

  • Actionoriented mindset with a drive for results.

  • Resilient problemsolving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong collaborator across departments

  • Digitally fluent with MS Excel PowerPoint and online tools.

  • P&L understanding and financial acumen.

  • Sales or negotiations experience
