Now hiring a Manager Financial and Statutory Reporting!

Presbyterian is seeking a Manager Financial and Statutory Reporting. Under the direction of the PHP Director of Finance Reporting and Operations this position is responsible for planning coordinating and supervising all activities as they relate to monthend GAAP reporting Statutory reporting operational and medical cost reporting process improvement and special projects.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required in Accounting or related field with four to five years of health care accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the selection training development and evaluation of employees.
  • Performs the daytoday management of employees to meet departmental goals create an environment which fosters employee involvement growth satisfaction and ability to function effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintains relationships with all levels of leadership and staff to coordinate activities to provide necessary education to supply input and feedback and function as a subjectmatter expert for the reporting functions of the Finance department.
  • Manages plans and coordinates the monthly closing process general ledger reporting and analysis and the preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement. Includes the verification and authentication of information received from the other sources adjusting and reclassifying journal entries and the preparation and distribution of various reports.
  • Ensures that monthend quarterend and yearend financial reports are accurate analyzed and reviewed as it related to medical costs.
  • Responsible for the development planning coordination and supervision of statutory reporting desk audits of medical vendors and other required reporting such as Medical Loss Ratio reporting.
  • Responsible for adhoc projects as needed.
  • Performs other functions as required.
