Job Description
Position: Housekeeper/Cook
Location: Park City UT
Rate: $35/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 7am 12pm 25 hours)
A busy family with a 4 year old daughter is seeking a detailoriented and organized Housekeeper and Cook to help maintain their household. The ideal candidate will handle all cleaning laundry and meal prep duties while respecting the familys specific preferences and work environment. Both parents work from home so the candidate must be professional efficient and able to follow precise instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Full cleaning of the home including dusting mopping vacuuming and general upkeep
- Laundry for the entire family including ironing following specific instructions and ensuring clothes are properly folded and put away
- Make beds ensuring they are done according to the familys guidelines
- Tidy up and organize toys shoes and other household items
- Run errands as needed such as grocery shopping or picking up supplies
- Find and coordinate with contractors when repairs are needed
- Follow a detailed daily checklist to ensure all tasks are completed as required
- Prepare breakfast and pack lunch for the familys daughter
- Prepare lunch for the parents (meat and vegetables following recipes)
Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English to follow spreadsheets and instructions for laundry ironing and cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions regarding household tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable with running errands and basic cooking following recipes as directed
- Respectful of boundaries particularly when parents are working from home and not overly chatty
