Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education
  High school diploma or equivalent required
• Required Skills
  Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
  able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLSAHA) required upon
  hire or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  License: Current TN NA licensure or Current MA certification/licensure
• Minimum Work Experience
  Six months experience as a nurse technician; if no experience job training will be provided.

Job Summary:

• Under the supervision of an RN performs basic patient care activities

Job Duties:

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN including monitoring vital signs
  and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing
  grooming eating and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked clean and orderly.
• Handle with Care participation annually or CPI participation every 2 years.
