Role Summary:
As a Senior Engineering Manager you will lead a team of talented engineers while staying close to the technical work. This role requires a balance of people management and handson technical leadership ensuring the team builds highquality scalable solutions while maintaining a strong engineering culture. Youll mentor engineers contribute to technical decisions provide architectural guidance and ensure the successful delivery of critical projects.
We look for leaders who foster a culture of ownership accountability and continuous learning. You should have a strong technical foundation experience solving complex engineering challenges and a track record of building and scaling highperforming engineering teams.
What Youll Do:
Lead mentor and develop a team of engineers fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
Stay involved in technical decisionmaking providing architectural guidance reviewing code and helping to solve complex engineering challenges.
Work alongside engineers to refine system design troubleshoot issues and ensure scalability and maintainability.
Own team delivery ensuring projects meet deadlines while upholding high technical and operational standards.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with product design and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with company goals.
Drive engineering excellence by maintaining high standards for code quality testing and system reliability.
Manage and improve engineering metrics such as velocity delivery commitments system performance and deployment success.
Hire and retain top engineering talent continuously developing the teams skills and capabilities.
Support and advocate for engineers helping to remove blockers and create an environment where they can do their best work.
What Were Looking For:
10 years of experience in software development with a deep understanding of modern web application architecture.
3 years of leadership or management experience with a track record of building and leading highperforming engineering teams.
Strong problemsolving coding and debugging skills with a history of delivering scalable and maintainable systems.
Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred) Kubernetes and distributed systems.
Ability to effectively manage engineering processes measure team success and continuously improve performance.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both engineers and nontechnical stakeholders.
