We are seeking aPrincipal Software Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
What You Will Do:
Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:
The Software Engineer will have experience and knowledge of software practices such as coding standards automated testing automated build pipelines and configuration management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Previous experience working in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC Program
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree 12 years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Technical Skills Required:
Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux
Experience with Java foundation classes and toolkits
Small team leadership experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers
Knowledge of server side/database development computer system administration; Netcentric horizontal integration program expertise
Strong problem solving skills including the ability to review performance and operational issues identify root cause recommend design and implement a solution.
Use of common software development and management tools such as maven git/GitHub Nexus and Eclipse
Experience with agile development methodologies
Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors shooters command and control systems and networks
Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
