DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR of ENGINEERING
FUNCTION: Use AutoCAD and Inventor 3D to design layout detail and update pressure vessel designs per customer specifications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare new drawings per the design guidelines.
- Update old drawings per the design guidelines.
- Design per our manufacturing capabilities.
- Interpret quote and customer specifications for Product Design.
- Work with customers on questions and clarifications for orders.
- Prepare and send drawing approval packages to the customer.
- Follow and maintain all drawing and departmental standards and ISO procedures.
- Prepare engineering change orders and engineering change requests.
- Enter data and maintain the parts in the ERP manufacturing system.
- As assigned train new personnel.
- Answer questions as generated by plant employees supervisors etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Design
- 1 year experience preferable
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor preferred)
