Job Description
Located along the Chippewa River in West Central Minnesota 45 minutes west of Willmar and 1 hour south of Alexandria Benson is a familyfriendly community of nearly 3500 residents. The CentraCare Benson Clinic serves patients in several different specialties.
Summary
- Deliver patientfocused rooming for various types of clinic visits.
- Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers.
- Ensure the daytoday activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.
Schedule
- Fulltime position Working 64 hours every two weeks Onsite
- Monday through Friday Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience starting at $18.01 per hour
- Pay range: $18.01 $25.62 per hour

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- National Association for Health Professionals Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients medical records physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
Department
The CentraCare Benson Clinic is a multispecialty clinic with physicians and advanced practice providers.
To be eligible for the hiring bonusyou must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinicandrelocate to within 30 miles of it.
