Job Description
If you are a Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Located in Elyria OH the Senior Financial Analyst will assist global Finance and internal collaborators with analysis for decisionmaking. You will assist in annual and monthly forecasting and provide analytical support explaining deltas vs plans.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Supports monthend quarterly and annual FP&A processes including preparation of various reports the global Professional Tools business
- Prepares variance analysis and drills into data to identify trends and explain root causes
- Supports and contributes to planning and initiatives
- Establishes and upholds standardized financial reporting to ensure consistent and accurate presentation of financial data across the organization
- Owns the global Professional Tools product line and segmentation profitability reporting
- Support finance team and leadership on special projects and adhoc analyses as needed
Who You Are:
You balance planning with actions. You provide timely and effective information to individuals across the organization. You use financial analysis to generate evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities. You seek ways to improve processes from small tweaks to complete reengineering.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or relevant field of study
- 3 years validated experience in a finance or accounting function.
- Application of knowledge gained concerning balance sheets P&Ls and other financial documents to complete required financial analysis.
- Strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office JDE).
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels in the organization and globally
- Strong discernment critical thinking and analytical/technical skills
- Selfconfidence ability to present position in difficult situations
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship name and in the future. We will not be providing sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- CPA certification or MBA
- Manufacturing industry experience
