Team mission
Since 2020 GetYourGuide has established a ML Platform team providing the tools and best practices to help the Data Products team build and maintain productionready ML/AI systems. The teams mission is to enable our diverse teams and ML/AI usecases via selfservice tools and automation.
As a Senior MLOps Engineer youll join our Machine Learning Platform team and have a chance to make an enormous impact across all of our data products. Youll work closely with our Data Products teams to build systems that enable ML/AI algorithms to go to production. You will:
- Youll design and implement systems and tools for scalable and more efficient machine learning solutions.
- You will work to increase the amount of data products in production reliably reduce the time to production and reduce operational costs.
- Youll be partnering/collaborating with product teams to bring advanced algorithms into production following MLOps best practices.
Who you are:
- Software Engineering: You have strong fundamentals in Computer Science and a polyglot mindset. Python is your language of choice; you can migrate between various programming languages though. Your passion is delivering clean code and investigating new tools languages and practices.
- Data Engineering: Previous experience in organizing and querying data at scale. Data warehouses and tools like Spark are not a novelty for you
- Data Science & MLOps: Data Scientists are close stakeholders for you. You share a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and are proficient in applying MLOps best practices as scale.
- Business Experience: You possess the ability to prioritize and manage stakeholders; they know you for your good communication and collaboration skills.
- Vision: Your ideas turn into reliable and maintainable code. Your track record of outcomedriven work evidences this. You are experienced in operating at scale and have a cloud DevOps / infrastructure mindset.
- Autonomy: Your mindset can be described as autonomous proactive and customeroriented. You own your projects.
- Teamwork: You strongly believe that a team is more than the sum of its members. Mentoring and sharing knowledge are fulfilling activities for you.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in scaleup environments with various technologies
- Interest in LLMs and the new challenges of Generative AI
