SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE Starting at $65000 annual base Commission Ascent Data is a leading Managed IT Service Provider (MSP) for businesses in the Pennsylvania Ohio and West Virginia regions. Our Cloud and Data Center clients span the nation. We exist to transform technology into value for our customers and help small to midsized businesses succeed through advanced technology management personalized IT strategy and the constant support of our responsive team. We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Development Representative to identify and qualify sales leads thereby playing a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. This role will be a hybrid of onsite and travel around the greater Pittsburgh area to meet with prospective clients. Role Overview This role combines business development and sales to drive revenue and build longterm client relationships. The selected candidate will work closely with Ascent Datas outsourced marketing team to align sales initiatives with marketing strategies while also directly engaging with prospects to promote our managed IT and data services. Key Responsibilities - Drive new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities for managed IT and data services.
- Conduct inperson meetings with prospects and clients around Pittsburgh to build trust and demonstrate Ascent Datas solutions.
- Understand customers and prospects short and long term goals providing solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Assist in developing a structured sales process that blends legacy business development with new client acquisition strategies.
- Work towards hitting sales targets and revenue goals with unlimited commission incentives rewarding performance.
Qualifications & Experience - 2 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in IT services cloud solutions or data center industries.
- Proven track record of account management or sales success closing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of IT services managed services and data solutions (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Experience working with marketing teams and aligning sales efforts with marketing strategies.
- Selfstarter with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Comfortable with local travel around Pittsburgh to meet with clients.
- Previous experience in sales or team development is a plus.
- A valid drivers license
