About the Role
The SandboxAQ Cybersecurity group is looking for a talented software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our nextgeneration cryptography and credential management solution. As a key member of our team you will work across the stack (backend frontend infrastructure) to help design and implement scalable cloudbased systems that enable secure credential management inside enterprise environments. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cryptography key management policy enforcement and distributed systems to shape the future of credential management. You will get to work with a diverse group of engineers product managers solution architects cryptographers and ML experts to rapidly bring the product to market.
What Youll Do
- Build core features around credential issuance distribution rotation and revocation while integrating with a variety of enterprise environments
- Design and implement securitycentric frameworks leveraging open source and proprietary frameworks
- Develop scalable performant and highly available solutions oriented at different security problems and environments for infrastructure both on cloud and onprem
- Understand existing security paradigms and solutions and contribute to building additional security capabilities in those systems
- Automate deploy diligently test and maintain software as part of a longlasting software engineering cycle
Who You Are
- 4 years of experience working as a Backend/Fullstack Software Engineer or equivalent
- Proficiency in Golang with a strong understanding of data structures and concurrency/synchronization
- Experience working with various enterprise Key Management Systems and solid understanding of current available solutions/technologies for both cloud and onprem deployments
- Experience developing distributed highly available performant and scalable infrastructure solutions and applications
- Ability to work in a small team to rapidly iterate and release production quality grade software
NiceToHaves
- Knowledge of Rust
- Experience developing an OS daemon or sidecar
- Experience working with relational databases
- Familiarity with AuthN/AuthZ concepts and common frameworks/solutions used in large scale deployments
- Exposure to fullstack development involving a React/TypeScript frontend
- Knowledge of Linux systems and related computer networking fundamentals
The US base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be $154k$216k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range individual pay is determined by factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
