Role: Associate Analyst Investment Research Fixed Income Research
Purpose:
The role involves gathering financial information about the companies such as the issuers profile the industry and sector details the key financial data and credit metrics of the borrower. The candidate will be involved in preparing the Fixed Income factsheet which will cover research and analysis of corporate and sovereign issuers from a credit perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately compiling data related to issuer.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Conduct indepth fundamental credit analysis to produce highquality research reports covering individual issuers across the globe.
- Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
- Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing issuers.
- Working under pressure to deliver highquality research in a timely manner.
- Flexible to work across multiple projects in the fixedincome domain.
- Understanding of capital structure analysis indenture screening covenant analysis and scenario analysis would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of macroeconomics could be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills:
- MBA or equivalent in Finance /CFA/CA.
- 02 years of experience in the investment research profile with a broad understanding of financial markets.
- Ability to articulate and present viewpoints.
- Able to work independently and in a global team set up to take on initiatives with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Selfmotivated individual with strong analytical ability and entrepreneurial thinking with a high degree of independence and willingness for aboveaverage commitment.
- Wellversed with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Bloomberg.
