Job Description:

The Senior Manager Organizational Effectiveness Organizational Design & Governance designs and delivers organization design consulting projects and advisory services employing substantial problemsolving and analytical capabilities strategic thinking and insight generation and effective facilitation communication and relational skills.

Depth & Scope:

  • Leads and executes internal organization design strategic projects from start to finish; including project design and scoping aligning stakeholder expectations project management providing updates and timely project delivery
  • Assesses and diagnoses organizational needs lead change initiatives build a change and organizational design capability to deliver leading practice organizational development solutions in support of TDs strategic plan
  • Conducts organization design analysis including employing strategic frameworks interpreting issues and opportunities conducting internal and external benchmark analysis generating insights preparing presentations and materials to provide findings and recommendations to help solve operating model organization design and governance issues for executives
  • Applies job analysis methodology to roles in context of overall organization structures and recommending job levels
  • Effectively facilitates executive workshops and communicate key insights ideas strategies rationale to executive level audience in a clear compelling and concise manner
  • Presents results and engages stakeholders in discussion on executing next steps and assisting in the implementation of recommendations as appropriate
  • Works with business executives to build relationships and maintain an understanding of their business; includes facilitating workshops with stakeholders and keeping business leaders HR business partners and stakeholders uptodate as appropriate
  • Collaborates closely with HR Business Partners to develop effective solutions to organization issues aligned with strategy and TDBG organization design principles and practices
  • Increases organization design capability in the HR Business Partner community to ensure optimal engagement and partnership
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the internal Organization Design Practice which includes methodology principles processes tools materials etc
  • Takes on and execute internal projects as assigned


Education & Experience:

  • 8 years relevant business experience preferablywithin financial services
  • Undergraduate Degree required (degree in business management organizational development human resources or related discipline is preferred)
  • Graduate degree or MBA preferred
  • Experience and familiarity with organization design discipline
  • Experience in large multinational organizations
  • Experiences with and tactical delivery of multiple projects and/ or transformational initiatives
  • Experience influencing and contributing to organizational strategic direction
  • Experience taking/ interpreting a strategy and breaking it down into pieces of work; building plans and teams around that work
  • Strong consulting skills anchored in problem solving with a solid background working with synthesis of qualitative data conducting analyses interpreting results and writing reports/presentations; external consulting experience would be an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal skills to effective manage relationships in a matrix environment
  • Previous Big 4 consulting experience preferred
  • Strong resultsoriented project management skills; well organized with a high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products particularly PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Hay Job Evaluation Methodology is a plus
