Job Summary

The intern will be part of the R&D team working on topics that include but not limited to material characterizations and sample preparation of fiber reinforced polymer composites. The intern will assist in the development and enhancement of processes and techniques to produce novel composite products.

Essential Functions

  • Material characterization equipment training
  • Support material characterization
  • Support sample preparation
  • Life Cycle Assessment of hybrid composites
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Must be enrolled at a University/College. Preference given to Masters or PhD students. Automotive Mechanical Chemical Industrial Aerospace Engineering or comparable field of study
  • Material characterization knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge in creation Life Cycle Assessment is preferred
