Job Description

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a fulltime 32hr/wk. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for their Intensive Residential Treatment Programs (IRTPs) in Tewksbury MA.

You will be responsible for the traumainformed psychiatric management of adolescents between the ages of 1318 coping with severe emotional behavioral and attachment issues.

You will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and families including:

  • Complex diagnostic assessment.
  • Psychopharmacological management.
  • Parent guidance.
  • Team consultation.
  • Comprehensive treatment planning.

Multidisciplinary team collaboration is integral to this position. Psychiatric services are provided onsite. This position includes light call responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidatemust have prior experience working with latencyaged children who haveacute orcomplex psychiatric presentations.
  • Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program.
  • Candidate must be BoardEligible or BoardCertified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Candidate musthold or be eligible for Massachusettsmedicallicensure.
