Work Schedule:

90 FTE Day/Evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. We offer a competitive starting pay relevant work experience will be considered this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at University Hospital in Madison WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients who may also have underlying medical problems.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Education:

Minimum Associate Degree Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN)

Work Experience:

Minimum Six 6 months of current independent PACU Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience.

Preferred Three 3 years current PACU experience with demonstrated success in meeting PACU competencies.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin BLS/CPR certification.
