• Building trusting relationships with clients to ease effective care and support

• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks

• Aiding with meal preparation light housekeeping and companionship

• Ability to multitask selfdirected suitable time management skills courteous and common sense.

• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age race creed color sex disability or financial condition of the patient.

• Able to work independently.

• Bring happiness and peace of mind to the elderly and those with disabilities

• Document/report any changes in clients health status

• Ensure client safety and wellbeing

• Document and track job duties via electronic visit verification

• Provide safety oversight and supervision of clients to ensure their ability to continue to live at home

Experience/Qualification

• Previous experience preferred but not required.

• Must be able to pass a mandatory criminal background check.

• First Aid/CPR Certificate obtained prior to employment.(required)

• Defensive Driving Certificate or obtained within the first month of employment.

• 1 year of direct care experience or equivalent educational experience (preferred)

• Practices good hygiene and is neat in personal appearance (required)

• Fluent in English reading writing and speaking(required)

• Successfully pass clearance and reference checks(required)

• Able to obtain 2 step negative TB test and physical (required)
