Job Description
Essential Funtcions
- Process requests for price delivery returns order status order expedites product literature and technical product assistance.
- Create quotes and sales orders.
- Customer follow up to provide delivery dates and order status.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and sales teams.
- Prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fastpaced environment.
- Proactively anticipate customers needs.
- Field incoming emails and phone calls.
- Assist and support Outside Sales teams.
- Upload data on customer internet portals.
Skills Experience & Education
- H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or better preferred.
- 1 years of customer service sales and/or purchasing experience in a Manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience in Industrial Distribution or similar industry is preferred (Hydraulic Pneumatic Fluid Power Electrical Power Transmission Motors and Motion Control)
- Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Email and vendor pricing programs
- Ability to learn and work within a CRM system is required working experience with Trend (CRM) is a plus.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
