In this role youll have the opportunity to manage multiple projects from site selection to financial close ensuring they are completed on schedule. Responsibilities:
Oversee project management for wind and solar projects ensuring timely completion.
Identify suitable areas for project sites considering various factors such as resource availability and grid access.
Engage in landowner negotiations and manage relationships postcontract signing.
Manage project licensing and permitting processes liaising with statutory organizations.
Assist with the procurement of EPC contractors and evaluation of bid submissions.
Conduct energy yield assessments and optimize project designs.
Support project land acquisition and lead introductory meetings with landowners.
Requirements:
MustHaves:
A degree in Engineering Business Law Natural Science or similar
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
Project management experience in renewable energy or similar industries.
Technical understanding of wind and solar farm development.
NicetoHaves:
Experience in renewable energy project development.
Familiarity with DFFE Environmental Authorization processes.
