We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering consultancy that is expanding its specialist Systems Engineering team offering exciting opportunities to work on highprofile national infrastructure projects in the nuclear sector.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established consultancy applying risk management methodologies to ensure system availability reliability and maintainability from the early stages of development. Roles are available from Graduate to Principal level with responsibilities scaling accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct riskbased reliability and functional safety assessments for complex engineering systems.
- Apply methodologies such as FMEA FTA RBD HAZID HAZOP and LOPA.
- Implement and assess ReliabilityCentred Maintenance (RCM) Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA).
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure dependability objectives are met.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers (for Senior and Principal roles).
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
What Were Looking For
- A degree in engineering mathematics or a related discipline.
- Experience in reliability maintainability and safety analysis (level dependent on role).
- Strong knowledge of engineering risk assessment techniques.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with experience producing highquality reports.
- Experience in the nuclear aerospace defence or other safetycritical industries is highly desirable.
- SC Clearance eligibility is essential.
