Job Description
Hire Resolve is on the lookout for a talented Junior Structural Engineer to join a prominent Civil Engineering firm in their Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will contribute to exciting projects in various sectors including industrial commercial and residential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the design of structures using software tools and manual calculations.
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site inspections to gather data and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Supporting senior engineers in project and documentation.
- Staying updated with current engineering trends and technologies.
Requirements
- BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Familiarity with CAD software and structural analysis programs.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for engineering and continuous learning is essential.
