About the GetYourGuide UX Team
We are a multidisciplinary team of Product Designers Content Designers and UX Researchers that are passionate about solving customer problems in an effective and delightful way. We combine empathy our craft and creativity to create valuable usable and delightful product experiences. Our work is guided by strong principles that make our experience focus on value and feel simple trustworthy human and unique. We collaborate with Product Engineering and Data to ensure those principles are front and center in the features we develop.
Team mission
In the Supply Portal team you will become the domain expert in all things Supplier experience and own significant highimpact areas of the Supplier journey like Reviews Homepage Navigation and overall Support & guidance. It is also expected that this team will be the key gatekeeper and quality ambassador of being able to consult other teams on how to keep the portal consistent and align with our design system and quality principles. Were looking for an enthusiastic ambitious and proactive designer who is willing to work on foundational projects with a broad opportunity for impact can confidently advocate for user centricity within this domain and follow a thorough design process all whilst shaking up the status quo and improving the overall user experience of our Suppliers.
You will:
- Solve exciting complex design and product challenges by designing userfriendly and impactful touchpoints of the supplier portal: a B2B platform that enables creators to share their products with travelers all around the world.
- Leverage both qualitative and quantitative insights in making product decisions.
- Work with UX researchers to plan strategic research initiatives and test your own designs.
- Work closely with Content Design to structure and iterate upon your designs.
- Develop a strong usercentered point of view on your product area advocate for user needs and your vision in a collaborative way.
- Collaborate with your stakeholders to facilitate alignment create shared understanding and communicate your design rationale.
- Be a thought partner to your Product Manager building the product strategy and roadmap together.
- Work to establish and socialize a robust foundation of design principles around inclusivity usability and aesthetic.
- Support the evolution of the Supply Portal design language and the delivery of essential libraries and frameworks (including a design system and supporting designers and engineers in creating new user experiences.
Who you are
- Minimum 5 years experience with endtoend product design in a SMB large company with a digital offering or design consulting agency.
- Experience with B2B platforms Suppliers and business products would be a huge bonus.
- Passion for strategic thinking and the ability to explore ambiguous design challenges with a variety of approaches and methodologies.
- Significant experience and passion for constructing design languages and systems as well as constructing accessible user interfaces and delivering componentized UI frameworks.
- A demonstrable problemsolving mindset focusing on outcomes and not output and applying user feedback or A/B testing tools to validate hypothesis.
- Proven trackrecord in leading design projects that demonstrate a usercentered approach and highquality deliverables.
- Able to contribute to visual design including branding composition and UI components.
- Comfortable with bringing ideas to life through prototyping through simple clickthrough mockups.
- Strong ability to present design concepts and final designs articulate the decision rationale behind them and build a product vision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with other functional roles including Product Managers and Engineers.
- Understanding of how UX impacts business objectives and KPIs.
