Trouw Nutrition is seeking Feed Mill Operators to be a part of feeding the future in our Chilliwack plant!
About The Role: Our Feed Mill Operator contributes to the production of highquality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving mixing pelleting and shipping activities.
Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery
Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
Meet or exceed production targets
Identify areas to optimize production performance
Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
Record data on production orders and activities
Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
2 3 years manufacturing experience an asset
Excellent computer skills Gamers welcome!
Forklift certification preferred
Boiler certificate is required (at least Class 5
Expectation from the Role:
Ability & willingness to work shifts and overtime
Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
Ability to focus on details within a fastpaced environment
Team player and coachable
Exposure to the elements noise and dust and working at heights
