We are looking for a skilled professional to join the team as our Financial Controller: Germany and Netherlands.
What you will be doing:
- Strengthening Financial Controls Develop implement and maintain robust financial controls in Germany and Netherlands to minimize writeoffs enhance cost management and safeguard revenue.
- Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance Uphold group accounting standards and policies ensuring all financial records are precise and compliant.
- Owning Balance Sheet Reconciliations Conduct monthly reconciliations taking proactive steps to resolve issues and maintain financial integrity.
- Managing Financial Close Guarantee the timely closure of the Trial Balance hitting deadlines with precision (Day 4 close).
- Regulatory & Audit Support Assist in regulatory reporting and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth processes.
- Driving Efficiency Work closely with other finance teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency across the department.
- Delivering Insightful Reporting Produce accurate daily weekly and monthly reports ensuring they are both timely and insightful for decisionmaking.
- Providing Actionable Analysis Generate adhoc reports that not only present data but also offer clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
This is what sets you apart:
- Education: Completed degree in business administration or economics.
- Work experience: Several years of experience in controlling preferably in an international company.
- Knowledge: Solid expertise in financial accounting according to HGB and IFRS.
- Software: Proficient in MS Office especially Excel. Experience with MS Dynamics is desirable.
- Language skills: Proficient in German and English (C1 level); Dutch is a plus.
- Personal skills: Strong affinity for numbers structured working style accuracy reliability and team spirit.
