Hi Im Theresa General Counsel and VP here at Dwolla and Im looking for a new team member who is experienced in and excited about contract drafting and negotiations and privacy and compliance law to join our Legal team.
Here is what you can expect to work on in this critical role on my team:
You will work in close collaboration with our revenue teams and tech teams to negotiate complex sales SaaS and agreements with our enterprise customers and support our marketing team in materials review. Additionally you will also work closely with our risk & compliance team to handle routine questions and escalations.

Our Legal Counsel will ideally be a selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced environment. Dwolla is on the cutting edge of innovative payments solutions and that means you must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to deepdive into new and changing regulations as they are introduced.
**Please note: Due to the highly collaborative nature of this role we are only accepting candidates who live within driving distance of Des Moines Iowa. While this is a mostly remote role there will be occasional inoffice attendance required. We anticipate inoffice attendance will be limited to a few times per month.
