Key position functions include:
- Responsible for material handling of product from incoming receiving to work order picking
- Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and/or instruction
- Unload sort inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions
- Ensure processes lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
- Check to ensure material picked for work orders is correct before being released
- Record required information by pick list or RF gun which may include lot numbers serial numbers heat numbers quantities etc.
- Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists purchase orders packing slips etc.
- Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays
- Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments
- General warehouse duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and organizing goods keeping areas clean and orderly
- Maintaining outside casting and forging areas keeping areas clean and orderly
- Keeping both product and storage areas clearly labelled
- Ensure compliance with StreamFlo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health Safety Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma supplemented with related warehouse experience is an asset
- Knowledge of StreamFlo and/or competitors equipment would be an asset
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong communication (oral and written) skills
- Detail oriented strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills
- Selfmotivated good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
- Forklift experience is an asset
