Job Description
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose California building an allelectric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing manufacturing and operating an allelectric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What Youll Do
- Design build and operate integrated test labs to support the development and certification of Archers eVTOL aircraft
- Work with subsystem stakeholders to develop test lab equipment electrical requirements
- Design electrical wiring interconnect and instrumentation systems to be used for hardware integration test labs
- Select components to be used in lab builds
- Modify conformal wiring harnesses to add wiring for test lab specific needs (tapins relays data logging switches power supplies)
- Manage external suppliers to procure lab components and/or manufacture Archer designed test equipment and oversee fabrication through final buyoff
- Aid technicians in installation and checkout of test equipment to ensure proper function
What You Need
- 5 years of electrical design experience with either product design and/or test equipment in aerospace automotive or a related industry
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Understanding of communication protocols (ARINC CAN Ethernet Serial)
- Familiarity with aviation or aerospace lab test hardware including tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Strong electrical design skills with the ability to own a project from requirements through detailed design and fabrication

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as jobrelated knowledge skills and experience
