We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Lot Porter to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
All positions companywide require a valid drivers license with a clean driving history negative drug screen and a clean 10year background history.
Position Overview: As a Lot Porter at Werner Kia you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot. You will ensure that vehicles are properly prepared for display assist in lot management and contribute to creating a positive first impression for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Move vehicles to designated display areas on the lot ensuring an attractive and organized presentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Maintain and organize vehicle keys ensuring accurate tracking and timely retrieval.
- Assist in managing the flow of vehicles in and out of the dealership lot.
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles for customers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on the lot.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in automotive detailing or lot management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including exposure to heat cold and precipitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
- Physical ability to lift carry and move objects up to 50 pounds.
