Role: IBM APIC Support Engineer
Location: Buffalo Grove IL or Dallas Tx
Experience: 7 years of experience

This role is with the Cognizant Integration and Process Management Practice within Enterprise Platform Services Team (IPMEPS). Cognizants IPM practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. IPM has strategic alliances with best of bread platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration Hybrid Integration Platforms B2B Platforms DPA and Low Code Platforms and Cloud Integration.
Job Description: As an IBM APIC support Engineer you will work as part of a crossfunctional team responsible for the endtoend full stack development of the application. While each team member has a primary skill set they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a wellregarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong interpersonal skills as well as proven track record of application development with skills in Java distributed cache technology and building scalable robust systems. In return you will have opportunity to gain exposure to designing developing and deploying applications to the internal/external cloud.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:
Knowledge of API design standards patterns and best practices
Experience in designing and development of SOAP/REST based Web Services.
Must be familiar with RESTful APIs and OAuth security considerations
Mandatory: At least 7 years of strong experience in Middleware Development Administration WebSphere DataPower XI50/52 XG 45 and API Connect
Strong knowledge in IBM APIConnect based API lifecycle management activities from design through implementation
Knowledgeable in creation of XSLT XSD & WSDL
Understanding of Datapower services like multiprotocol gateways web service proxies firewalls
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130000/Year to $160000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
