Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker plays a vital role in the effective and profitable operation of the stadium by assisting with venue distribution and warehouse operations. This includes inventory management receiving purchase order tracking product transfers cleanup trash removal and equipment maintenance. The position requires physical stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditions move products efficiently and lift up to 50 lbs. The Warehouse Worker will maintain an organized clean and safe workspace while adhering to sanitation and food safety practices. They must be able to work a variable eventdriven schedule including evenings and weekends and maintain excellent attendance. This position demands strong interpersonal skills selfdirection and the ability to make independent decisions to ensure the smooth operation of warehouse and distribution tasks.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.

About the Venue

Subaru Park located in Chester PA is the proud home of the Philadelphia Union the citys Major League Soccer (MLS) team. As a premier sports and entertainment venue Subaru Park hosts the Unions home games and various other events throughout the year. The 2025 MLS Home Opener will take place on March 1st and the season runs through October/November of this year. Working at Subaru Park provides a unique opportunity to be part of the action and support the Philadelphia Union all while delivering exceptional service to fans in the vibrant energetic atmosphere of the stadium.

Responsibilities

  • Product Handling and Delivery:
    Receive organize and distribute products including food and beverage items from the warehouse to various stadium areas. Ensure that all materials are delivered efficiently according to event requirements and orders.

  • Physical Stamina:
    Stand walk and move around the stadium for extended periods sometimes in all weather conditions to assist with product delivery. Lift push and pull items up to 50 lbs as required.

  • Inventory Management:
    Read and understand product orders ensuring accurate inventory levels and product movement. Assist with stock rotation keeping track of inventory and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

  • Pallet Jack Operation:
    Use pallet jacks to move large quantities of goods and products across the stadium efficiently. Pallet jack experience is a plus.

  • Workplace Organization:
    Maintain an orderly clean and safe work environment by regularly organizing warehouse items and supplies. Ensure the workspace is free from hazards and complies with safety regulations.

  • Sanitation & Safety:
    Strictly adhere to sanitation standards and safe food handling practices. Ensure that all food products are stored and handled in compliance with health and safety guidelines.

  • Concessions Knowledge and Support:
    Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations including their geographical location equipment evacuation procedures adjacent employee and guest areas and facility access.

  • Stocking and Maintenance:
    Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event. Rotate products and maintain the integrity of all items. Ensure proper transfer of products between locations including followup documentation.

  • Routine Maintenance and Equipment Care:
    Assist in performing routine maintenance and be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of concession and utility equipment including portable equipment burden carriers carts floors refrigeration and lighting. Ensure that manifested equipment is located as required.

  • Warehouse and Event Operations:
    Maintain sanitation and organizational systems for all warehouse storage areas. Fulfill all event expectations including requisitioning during events postevent breakdown warehouse returns equipment storage sanitation and maintenance.

  • Event Support:
    Be punctual and reliable and available to work all scheduled events including evenings weekends and select holidays. Support the team during busy event times to ensure the operation runs smoothly.

  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with other warehouse and catering staff to ensure seamless product movement and distribution across the venue.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of foodservice or hospitality experience; experience in similar venue settings is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Routine tasks involve reaching sitting walking stooping kneeling crouching and crawling.
  • Must be able to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand orders accurately.
  • Capable of efficiently delivering products to designated areas according to event requirements.

Working Conditions & Hazards:

  • Exposure to weather and nonweatherrelated cold temperatures.
  • Wet and slippery floors extreme hot surfaces pinch points and tight working spaces.
  • Exposure to high noise levels.
