Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient logistics managing inventory control and maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement process improvements within the warehouse.
Duties
Supervise night shift operations ensuring all shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Manage a team of warehouse staff providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and safety.
Oversee materials handling processes ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Utilize warehouse management systems including AS400 to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics and inventory control.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures equipment operation and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across shifts.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes as well as materials handling techniques.
Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on process improvement and efficiency.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software; experience with AS400 is a plus.
Ability to effectively manage inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
