Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel for a Global Food and Beverage Company in Switzerland. The Legal Counsel will work within an international inhouse legal team reporting directly to the General Counsel. The successful candidate will manage and oversee machine procurement agreements ESG partnership agreements and various sourcing agreements. Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review draft and negotiate various commercial agreements including machine procurement agreements sourcing agreements and ESG partnership agreements
- Provide legal advice and support to the legal team across various commercial matters
- Collaborate closely with global commercial teams to optimize legal and operational frameworks for international trade and contracts
- Engage and coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements
- Lawyer with 5 years of experience in commercial law ideally within a corporate or inhouse setting
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating contracts in an international context
- Corporate law background is advantageous particularly in the food and beverage industry
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a global culturally diverse environment
